Frozen Cacao Banana Bars Recipe

These easy frozen treats combine creamy peanut butter, gooey date caramel and naturally sweet banana slices, all finished with a luscious drizzle of dark chocolate and a satisfying crunch of cacao nibs. They're the perfect balance of indulgent and nourishing—like a frozen candy bar, but made from wholesome ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

Banana Bars:
4 ripe bananas, sliced in half
¼ cup peanut butter 
¼ cup date caramel
¼ cup chocolate sauce
2 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Cacao Nibs

Date Caramel:
16 Medjool dates, pitted
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
¾ cup - 1 cup almond milk

Chocolate Sauce:
¼ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder
¼ cup pure maple syrup
2-3 Tbsp. water
Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS


Slice bananas in half and then down middle. Add to parchment-lined baking sheet.
Spread peanut butter on top of banana slices, then spread date caramel on top.
Make chocolate sauce by whisking together cacao powder, maple syrup, water, and salt, and drizzle over bananas.
Sprinkle cacao nibs on top before placing in freezer for 1-2 hours or overnight. Enjoy!
