As we celebrate Earth Month, we reflect on our commitment to using our business as a force for good. All month long, we're shining a light on the important work of our friends at Grow Ahead—a nonprofit that empowers businesses and individuals to financially support small-scale agroforestry projects. Agroforestry is a land management system that plants native trees alongside income-generating crops as well as food crops to increase food security and economic resilience. By connecting directly with small-scale farmer organizations around the world, Grow Ahead is able to raise funds for farmers that typically don’t have access to conventional lenders or charities.
We share similar values with Grow Ahead and honor the infinite knowledge of smallholder farmers and their leadership in agriculture. As part of our fight for small-scale farmers as they support their families and protect our planet, we will donate 5% of all website sales through the month of April to Grow Ahead.
